Great woodworking dust mask November 16, 2008 I've tried at least 8 different masks. This is hands down the best. It is comfortable, the two straps provide a tight seal so dust does not leak in through the sides. Best part, no "hacking cough" after using with 220 grit power hand sander. br /br /Unlike other reviews, I've never had a strap break, even after using hundreds of this mask.br /br /You can tell it is working because it get dirty, unlike other masks that stay clean. In other words, all the dirt is stuff that would have gone into your lungs!br /

Why do you advertise 3M Particulate Respirator, 20-Pack #N95, when you only send one mask and not twenty? After I ordered I read the review and saw where a buyer had only got one mask. I called to cancel my order, but was told it already shipped. I asked what I should do, and was told to refuse the order and I would get a full refund even shipping. When I received my refund it was only for the items and not shipping. I sent an email asking why I never received my full refund, but there was no reply. I'm going to file a complaint with the State Attorneys Office against eAngler and also Amazon for false advertising. I'm not a happy customer and will never buy from either company ever.br /br /Dan
The lesser of all evils January 28, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I can't say I love wearing anything on my face, but these are my mask of choice unless the job requires a full blown respirator. br /br /Pros: The metal strip is strong enough to keep it's shape and obviously maleable enough to shape it in the first place. The straps are strong and secure without being too tight. br /br /Cons: Apart from wearing one at all, I have no problems with it. I've had a few straps come off in past years, but not lately. If you encounter this problem, stretch the rubber before putting in on your face the first time. br /br /I've used others and am reminded of what 3M has to offer... especially compared to AOSafety products...
Good Product July 31, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I think these are well made. I have no problem with the straps of which there are two. The two straps add to the tightness of the fit which is importand for these be of any help in keeping out the dust. There is also a foam pad on the inside of the nose bridge which adds to the comfort level. br /I am cutting cement board in the hot sun and would rather use this style of mask as opposed to a full respirator.
Unreliable and unsafe July 11, 2006 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
These are unreliable and unsafe. The straps routinely break unexpectedly. I've had one of them snap in as little as half an hour after I put it on. I just had one fall off my face into the mortar I was stirring. What's the point of having a mask when it falls apart when you need it? If you're around any sort of hazardous material, stay away from these and find masks that you can depend on.
