It makes boring days at work go by quicker December 21, 2008 The game is great, the new version where everyone chooses there moves at once, and being able to make multiple attacks, adds a whole nother strategy to the already classic great game. My only problem with it, is not being able to add computer players in LAN play and having to have 3 to start a LAN game, however having the ability when everyone can play does make boring days at work go by much faster, and adds to bragging rights of you and your co-workers...I give it 4 stars and a thumbs up, especialy for the price
Harder and more complex than the first Risk. May 15, 2008 I have played both versions of risk and while I like both games this version is more of a challenge. You can play three different ways,1. Classic version can be played,2. Tournament, which has many levels with different missions on each level,3. Same Time, which is another level in which all combatants move at the same time. I like the added challenge of same time but you'd better patience and cunning.
ONLINE RISK PLAY April 15, 2008 Bought RISK 2 couple weeks ago, played it online second day,at "WAR ZONE".The best of all worlds, can host game on line and play diffrent people around the world.Have played people from NORWAY and BRAZIL in the last 2 days.Just remimber only 1 winner in the game, be a good sport when you lose. I lose more than I win but still fun.br /P.S.Does not have to be the "risk server" link to play risk at war zone, ones you have server you chose risk game link.br /br /br /
Good but network game has limitation April 6, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Good game play and visuals. Issues:br /br /1. Network LAN play requires a minimum of three players. And, there is no way, that I can see, to create a third player as a computer opponent. Why not allow two players? This is bizarre, no worse, its cuckoo. Totally wacko. Its like today I was at the shoe store and the salesperson said, "we have a sale on socks. Buy a pair and get half of the other." But, I have two feet! What am I going to do with half a pair of socks?br /2. Is this product supported by any company? No where to ask anything about it.br /br /Bottom line, its ok.br /
A Great Game! February 20, 2008 Just like I remembered it as a kid! The whole family enjoys this computer version of the popular board game.
