 Very informative and easy to understand August 10, 2008
I found that "Plain Simple" Windows Vista was very easy to read, understand and informative.br /It seemed to answer all my questions.

VISTA should not have been developed, in my opinion. This book is PLAIN, AND it does not make the ill-fated operating system EASY to use. Years ago the US automobile manufacturers told drivers what's good for them'. Look what happened!

I purchased Step by Step. This had a disc at the back of the book which was to be used for practice lessons. This does not work. I downloaded the system many times, without success. I found an item on the net which explained that there was a problem with the system and it gave instructions to cure this - but this does not work either. I wrote to Windows and they did not reply. br /br /I purchased Plain and Simple - and that is what it is, easy to understand and use. I recommend it.br /br /Edma Poole

I find this guide to be very easy to use. I could locate the topic I needed easily. The text is user friendly and the pictures are excellent feedback that confirms what you entered and clearly illustrates the topic. br /br /I think this is one of the easiest guides I've used and reccomend it to anyone who is not a computer guru.
