A lesson in gaming: How NOT to alter an already great game! October 26, 2005 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
I absolutely love this game and it's one of the best computer games that I've ever played. br /br / However this alteration of the game is a joke! The graphics of the cities is appalling especially when the invention advance comes along. Thye just look like mere tents! br /br / The greatest mistake however was the whole "Unified Theory, why the Universe Exists at all" part! I don't know about you but I had the same problem where this thing popped up, and ending my game even I've only founded like two or three cities thousands of game years B.C.!!! What is that all about?!br /br / This is still a fun game for it's intents and purposes but the way they handled this though is a travesty to the original Civ 2 game.
Yuck March 29, 2004 1 out of 7 found this review helpful
A pale imitation of the real thing, basically a retread with bad graphics, muddy scenes, more bells and whistle with no real innovation, a waste of money
Good followup March 27, 2004 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
Test of Time was a good attempt by Atari to fill the long void between Civ2 and Civ3. The graphics and other improvements would have made this game a much better Civ2 than the actual one. At this point, since it's out of print, unless your an avid collector of the Civilization series, I would pass then one by, but it would have been nice if Sid Meyer and Atari had kept some of the features in this game when they made Civ3.

GOD THIS GAME IS THE BEST March 17, 2004 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
Wow. This game is the best for kids and adults. It makes me feel wanted, plus if you want to do a paper on the Ice Age, the Medevil Age, or now this is the game.
