Remember taking those IQ tests when you were in elementary school? This software has similar testing format (match patterns, etc), and I expected the software to include an explantion for missed questions to gain an understanding on how to improve the score. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Generally, the program would simply show the correct answer along with the wrong answer, and leave me to try to figure out where I went wrong. Occassionally an explantion would be given that was so vague that it was of no use - "Look for the pattern" isn't really much help. br /br /There are a large number of questions in the database, yet I found that when I took the IQ test twice, several of the questions were repeated. br /br /The program wasn't fun to "play" and the graphics were very basic. As a mature adult, I purchased this for my own use and I'm already bored with it after a few hours. I can't imagine this keeping children or teens entertained for very long. br /br /The sound included an annoying tick-tock noise to max out the stress level when a difficult question is encountered. In addition, I was suprised (and annoyed) to find that I was not able to switch out to any other programs while it was running. br /br /I haven't purchased software in quite some time, and I wish I had not decided to buy this program.
