It's so cool how open source software can take on the biggest companies in the industry head-to-head.br /br /OpenOffice vs. Microsoft Office is a tossup for me...br /br /but check out the difference on the price tag! :-)

This polished office suite is exactly what a college student like me is looking for - inexpensive, professional, fully compatible with proprietary counterparts, extra functions not available in other office suites. Not to mention, the instruction manual that came with the CD was extremely helpful and comprehensive.
