Product Description Become a sharpshooter and take part in the turning points of WW II. Eliminate the Nazi general, who came to support the Germans laying siege to Stalingrad. Make your way through areas occupied by the Third Reich to your unit. Aid the Alliance forces during their offensive on the Italian Peninsula to break the resistance of the retreating Wehrmacht forces. WW II was a theatre of war for many specialized combat units, working together to ensure an army's victory. Among them, hidden and deadly marksmen played a unique role. Their ability to lay motionless waiting for the perfect shot, together with their professional equipment, allowed them to change the course of history with one pull of a trigger. BRBR

Just like the Marine Sharpshooter series December 31, 2008 Sniper Art Of Victory is so similar to the low budget Marine Sharpshooter series. The voice acting is bad, the graphics are blocky and straight out of the year 2001, and the game just has that extreme low budget feel. The weapons are highly inaccurate and you run out of ammo too quickly. The AI is incredibly stupid in this game too. This is the type of game where the enemy will sit still right in front of you allowing you to make many attempts at blowing their head off while they remain perfectly still.br /br /Every level looks the same too, just outside grassy areas with some buildings nearby that you can't open doors to enter. The only thing really different than the Marine Sharpshooter series is that you have no spotter with you. The levels are really short too. You can also wonder around endlessly in these grassy areas trying to find out where to go. This is just not an enjoyable game for the year 2008. Maybe 6 years ago it would have been ok. I certainly wouldn't want to play it again after playing it once. I wish there would have been a demo to try first.br /
Dated Graphics December 16, 2008 I purchased this after reading reviews of this game and am sorely dissappointed.br /The graphics literaly suck and must date back at least eight years. If you are used to such fare as Medal of Honor or Call of Duty, even those that first came out three years ago or more, there is no comparison.br /This game would fail to satisfy even if purchased in a clearance bin at 9.95.br /Stay away, there are better games out there for less.br /br /The enemy AI even manages to shoot you, while you are hiding behind a building.br /br /The only highlite was the "Bullet Time" slow motion, but that is not enough to satisfy even the occational gamer.br /br /Stay away, other games available for less money with a greater fun factor.br /
Sniper: Art of Victory a worthwhile Sniper Game December 12, 2008 While this is a good sniper game and has some good things I like, Sniper Elite is still the best Sniper game and top dog in this genre.
A good sneak and shoot November 26, 2008 I liked this game from the start. It has several interesting missions and gives you the ability to use fallen enemy's weapons. There are a few drawbacks however that I discovered during the course of the campaign. First off, even playing on medium skill or lower, I found the other weapons like the pistol, smg, and Kar98 to be exceptionally inaccurate at very close range. I mean at say 10 meters I can't hit a man fatally, with no question on the aim, but switch to the scoped rifle and he drops dead? Also, movement is a bit more restrictive than I would like for a sniper. You will also find that once an enemy hears you, no matter where you sneak too or how far away you move from him, he will always be facing you and shooting most of the time when you finally line him up for a shot. Your best bet is to shoot all of them without being spotted and that is the skill of the game. Other than that the missions are very daunting and you can find ammo most of the time. Overall, I am pleased with the game for its price. I especially liked the mission in a bombed out city, probably Stalingrad, where you had to snipe a general and and sneak back out.
A good game regardless of the critics November 21, 2008 br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br / br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /br /This very good game has many of the positive elements one looks for in a br /br /WWII shooter:br /br / crouch br /br /and prone toggles, lean right/left capabilities [though you can't shoot br /br /while leaning] as well as quick- save/load functions. Controls are br /br /intuitive and game play is straightforward and exciting.br /br /Knocks include the inability to turn off the music, and a certain br /br /difficulty with some sniper shots [hold breath, line up the dot, etc]br /br /but these are minor flaws.br /br /The game loads and exits quickly.br /br /All in all, a fine sniper/shooter with good replay value; well worthbr /br /the price.
